Our Prevocational Services teaches the skills participants need to become employable, increase their independence, and place them in meaningful jobs. This service provides individuals with minimal, or no work experience the ability to prepare themselves to enter the field of employment. We work toward achieving each participant’s individualized professional goals. Services included under this scope include training in effective communication with supervisors, co-workers and customers, generally accepted community workplace conduct and dress, workplace problem solving skills and strategies, and general workplace safety and mobility training. Services also include assistance with completing direct employment tasks such as resume building and job search.
