When an individual’s behaviors are disruptive to their daily life — and to the lives of those around them — Anchor Behavioral Solutions provides intensive behavioral interventions to promote positive change. We work intensively with program participants and their families to manage and eliminate challenging behaviors, support personal growth, and increase independence in daily living.

Our services, designed for adults and children with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities, are delivered in the home, the community or at one of our new day habilitation locations. We are licensed by the New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Developmental Rehabilitation, and the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities to provide care services statewide.

At 140 employees and growing, the ABS leadership team has built a unique staff of talented, seasoned professionals; ABS does not subcontract to outside agencies or per diem providers.

Our team of accommodating Direct Support Professionals, ABA Therapists, Behavior Technicians and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts are passionate about what we do. Our hands-on services are geared to assist our staff create treatment plans that emphasis the importance of achieving goals and objectives.

Our hiring and training processes are among the most rigorous in the industry. All applicants are carefully vetted with in-depth background checks, including work history, education, criminal history and driving record, as well as screening by the NJ Department of Children & Families, the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities and a drug screening.

Once Hired, ABS Staff Members Receive Additional Training, Including:

– CPR/First aid
– Crisis management training
– Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)
– Disability-specific training
